Job summary

Gestamp seeks an India Region HR Business Partner (HRBP) to align HR strategy with business goals across the India regional office and multiple plants. This role reports to the Regional HR Director and leads end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, performance management, and governance.

The candidate will manage industrial relations, expatriate mobility, and HR analytics to support strategic decisions, while ensuring statutory compliance and stakeholder engagement with government bodies

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
• Lead workforce planning, succession management, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with LABEX controls, HR governance standards, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
• Oversee HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and HR systems.
• Drive industrial relations, union management, collective bargaining, and labor stability.
• Provide guidance and governance to Plant HR Managers across India.
• Manage HR budgets, manpower costs, workforce productivity, and HR-related financial controls.
• Lead expatriate management, mobility programs, and global HR coordination.
• Promote ethics, integrity, compliance, and corporate governance practices.
• Develop HR analytics and workforce insights to support business decisions.
• Oversee CSR governance, legal compliance mapping, and statutory reporting.
• Manage relationships with government authorities, industry bodies, and external stakeholders.
