Qualifications

  • Experience in OD and Talent Management.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop people managers.
  • Experience in employee mediation and issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team; adaptable to ambiguity.

Role & responsibilities

The Head of Human Resources is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of human resources and office administration for the company's operations in India. This is a critical role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, creating a positive and productive work environment, and overseeing the efficient and effective functioning of the offices.

Strategic Focus
  • Ensure alignment of HR strategies and actions with business plan
  • Coach to a country manager and the leadership team
  • Lead transparent employee communications
Culture and Employee Experience
  • Design programs to embed 3As values and culture
  • Design a differentiated employee experience programs to enhance employee engagement
  • Functional organizational design reviews and associated change management
  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and termination processes
Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development and Succession Planning
  • Develop initiatives to drive employer branding
  • Responsible for talent sourcing strategies and the development of talent pools
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for all positions in India, and partner with the Head of HR for all the expatriate hiring from India to other countries.
  • Develop effective orientation program for all new hires
  • Own the talent review process and implement succession plan for critical roles and leadership team
  • Lead performance management programs, including goal setting, feedback, and coaching
Compensation & Benefits
  • Oversee all rewards related programs for the country, lead the country rewards annual headcount planning, annual performance & merit and bonus process
  • Lead job evaluation and benefits reviews, design of wellbeing strategies
  • Package design for new hires and internal promotions in line with the company guidelines.
Learning and Development
  • Develop and implement team effectiveness strategies for functional teams
  • Develop leadership learning programs to enhance mid-level management skills
  • Encourage employee individual development plans
  • Oversee the development and implementation of training and development programs for all employees.
Regulatory and Compliance
  • Remain updated on all people related regulatory changes related to the employment law
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements
  • Lead audit management efforts, including preparation of responses to external audits
Team Leadership
  • Provide overall leadership and development to the HR team
  • Oversee all HR activities including annual budgeting, cost management
  • Country cross functional projects or possibly group HR projects as necessary
  • Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 12-18 years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 8 years in a senior HR leadership role preferably in a multinational company with operations.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing HR strategies and policies.
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws and regulations.
  • Sound knowledge of OD and Talent Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and improve people manager capability.

Experience in employee mediation and issue resolution.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and deal with ambiguity.
  • Comfortable challenging the norm with the stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing office administration functions.
  • Experience in a dynamic and diverse culture working environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of HR technology and systems.
