The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of HR experience in high-volume environments, with strong expertise in employee relations, manpower planning, and attrition management within a warehouse setting.

Position: HR Business Partner – Mother Hub

Function: Human Resources / People & Culture

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on HR Business Partner (HRBP) to manage the complete people agenda for our Mother Hub operations. The role will work closely with operations leaders and frontline teams to drive workforce productivity, employee engagement, retention, compliance, and a strong employee experience.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced Mother Hub/Warehouse environment, managing a large blue-collar workforce and handling employee-related matters on the ground.

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Business Partnering
  • Partner with Mother Hub Operations leaders to understand business and manpower requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into effective people strategies and HR interventions.
  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and operational stakeholders.
  • Provide data-driven insights on manpower, productivity, absenteeism, attrition, and employee engagement.
2. Workforce & Manpower Management
  • Manage manpower planning and deployment in partnership with operations.
  • Track headcount, vacancies, attendance, absenteeism, and attrition.
  • Work closely with TA/vendors to ensure timely closure of manpower requirements.
  • Identify manpower gaps and proactively develop sourcing and retention solutions.
  • Support peak-season and volume-based workforce planning.
3. Employee Relations
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary cases, conflicts, and workplace concerns.
  • Conduct regular floor visits and employee connects to understand ground-level issues.
  • Drive grievance resolution within defined timelines.
  • Partner with operations managers to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
4. Engagement & Retention
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives at the Mother Hub.
  • Develop interventions to improve retention and reduce frontline attrition.
  • Conduct employee connects, skip-level interactions, feedback sessions, and engagement activities.
  • Identify key attrition drivers and implement corrective actions.
5. Performance & Productivity
  • Partner with Operations to drive employee productivity and performance.
  • Support performance management processes and identify underperformance trends.
  • Analyse workforce productivity and recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Support recognition and rewards programs for frontline employees.
6. Compliance & HR Operations
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, statutory requirements, and company processes.
  • Work closely with relevant teams on labour-law and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, payroll inputs, onboarding, exits, and documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate HR data and employee records.
  • Support audits and compliance checks at the Mother Hub.
7. Onboarding & Employee Experience
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees.
  • Partner with Operations and TA teams to improve joining and onboarding experience.
  • Conduct new-joiner connects and identify early-stage concerns.
  • Drive HR communication and policy awareness across frontline employees.
Key Skills Required
  • Strong HR Business Partnering experience in a high-volume operational environment.
  • Experience managing blue-collar/frontline workforce.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations and grievance handling.
  • Hands-on experience in manpower planning and workforce management.
  • Strong knowledge of attrition, absenteeism and retention management.
  • Experience in bulk hiring and vendor coordination is preferred.
  • Good understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with large employee populations and multiple operational stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work on HR dashboards and workforce metrics.
  • Comfortable working on the shop floor/warehouse floor and handling real-time employee issues.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Candidate Profile
  • 3–6 years of HR experience, with at least 2+ years in HRBP/HR Operations.
  • Experience in e-commerce, quick commerce, logistics, retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.
  • Prior experience handling Mother Hub, Warehouse, Fulfilment Centre, Distribution Centre, or large frontline operations will be highly preferred.
  • Should have experience managing high-volume blue-collar/frontline employees.
  • Strong execution-oriented approach with the ability to independently manage on-ground HR activities.
