Position Duties And Responsibilities

AISC teachers are responsible for ensuring that all instructional and assessment practices, curriculum development, classroom management, and professional growth align with and contribute to the School s Mission, Core Values, and Vision for the AISC Learner. Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Designing and delivering a rigorous, engaging, and conceptually connected Social Studies IB or AP Economics curriculum that develops students economic thinking, analytical skills, and understanding of real-world issues. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to inquiry-based learning, authentic applications, and critical analysis of economic systems and decision-making. Knowledge of the C3 Framework for Social Studies and experience teaching additional advanced-level social studies courses is highly desirable.
