AISC teachers are responsible for ensuring that all instructional and assessment practices, curriculum development, classroom management, and professional growth align with and contribute to the School s Mission, Core Values, and Vision for the AISC Learner. Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Design and deliver a rigorous and engaging English Language Arts curriculum that incorporates inquiry, personalized instruction, and differentiation across all grade levels. This includes demonstrating experience teaching a variety of core courses and electives, with the ability and knowledge to effectively teach IB English and/or AP English courses, ensuring students are prepared for external assessments and college-level academic rigor.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

1. At least 4-5 years of relevant experience working as a teacher in a similar capacity
2. Experience teaching IB Diploma English Language Literature or AP Language / Literature
3. Valid Teaching credential
4. A record of continued professional growth

6. Experience teaching and learning in a technology-integrated environment
7. Experience in leading co-curricular activities
