Job description

Job Title : HRIS Analyst - US Shift
Location: Hyderabad/ Bangalore/ Chennai
Summary / Objective

The HRIS Analyst owns the systems, data, and reporting infrastructure that support the U.S. Human Resources function, with a focus on data integrity, workflow automation, and governed reporting from a single source of truth. In addition to systems and reporting work, this role administers the system-driven transactions that support Redeployment (bench) and Recruitment, including project setup, bench assignments and timecards, Quicklog communications, and job posting maintenance, with the goal of automating these tasks wherever possible. This role exercises independent judgment in evaluating and improving HR technology and reporting processes, troubleshooting system-level issues, and partnering with U.S. HR leadership, Redeployment, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, and global HR teams to reduce manual work and reporting risk.

Essential Job Functions
Systems Administration & Data Governance
  • Serve as day-to-day administrator of core HRIS (Oracle) modules, ensuring data accuracy, timely updates, and consistent system configuration.
  • Own evaluation of the current reporting inventory to determine which reports can be eliminated, consolidated, scheduled, or moved to self-service from a single governed data source.
  • Partner with Compensation and global HR teams to clarify report and data ownership, particularly where global reporting and audit work depend on Compensation data.
  • Maintain data quality standards, access controls, and system documentation across HR systems to support accurate downstream reporting.
Workflow & System Troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and resolve system-level friction affecting Recruiting and Redeployment workflows, including Oracle timeouts, candidate packaging, project creation, rejection processing, candidate-job matching, interview scheduling, and feedback turnaround.
  • Partner with IT and system vendors to upscale and resolve recurring platform issues.
  • Document workflow issues and recommend process or configuration changes to reduce recurring friction.
Redeployment, Bench & Recruitment Systems Support
  • Oversee project and task creation, partnering with Project Managers and Finance to ensure accurate client, billing, project structure, role, and employee information is incorporated into project setup.
  • Assign incoming bench employees evenly to redeployment managers and keep bench tracking data current in the HR dashboard, building rules-based assignment where feasible.
  • Review timecards for employees on the bench, follow up on missing time entries, and process approvals under the documented approval workflow.
  • Prepare and send weekly bench communications through Quicklog, moving recurring messages to templated or scheduled sends.
  • Keep hot jobs current in ADP and set up automated referral reminders for aging requisitions, including increased referral incentives at 30 and 60 days per the approved schedule.
  • Audit LinkedIn job postings to confirm competitive and aging requisitions are posted, coordinating timing with Talent Acquisition.
Automation & Process Improvement
  • Design and implement Oracle-triggered onboarding communications, automatic Payroll ticket generation, and Relias-ADP integration.
  • Build and maintain immigration and compliance tracking functionality within HRIS, including expiration monitoring and start-date notifications.
  • Identify and execute quick-win automation opportunities, including migrating the PTO report directly to Accounting/self-service and setting up scheduled recurring reports.
  • Partner with U.S. HR and the HR Operations Generalist to move appropriate transactional and reporting work into system-driven or self-service processes.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Maintain and govern the master HR reporting inventory, ensuring reports map to a single source of truth.
  • Maintain HR dashboards and data analytics for U.S. HR teams, including bench and redeployment tracking, and prepare a monthly HR summary report with analytics for each team.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics such as time to fill, fill rate, attrition, and pay by recruiter to support Talent Acquisition leadership.
  • Deliver ad hoc and recurring reporting and data requests for HR leadership, Compensation, and business stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain Amber reporting for managers, including policy acknowledgment tracking.
  • Support audits and compliance reporting that depend on accurate, timely HRIS data.
Key Success Indicators / Attributes
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle HCM or comparable HRIS platforms.
  • Process and data-governance mindset, with the ability to identify consolidation and automation opportunities.
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional system requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail managing compliance-sensitive and audit-relevant data.
  • Comfort partnering with U.S.-based and global teams across time zones.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
