Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, Business, Analytics, IS, or related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive HR ops exp including people analytics, compliance, reporting, or data governance.
• Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI) are required.
• Strong HR technology experience across core HRIS, recruiting, learning, performance, or compensation platforms (BambooHR preferred).
• Ability to define system requirements for fields, data structures, workflows, integrations, security, reporting, and controls.
• Excellent written and spoken English with ability to collaborate across borders.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior HR Analytics, Compliance & Technology Solutions Lead based in India.

The Senior HR Analytics, Compliance & Technology Solutions Lead will play a key role in strengthening global HR operations through data-driven insights, effective governance, and scalable technology solutions. This senior individual contributor position combines people analytics, HR compliance, data integrity, and HR technology strategy. You will translate complex business needs into practical solutions, helping improve systems, processes, reporting, and controls across multiple countries. Working closely with HR leaders and cross-functional partners, you will lead solution design, define requirements, and ensure that implementations meet business and compliance needs. The role offers an opportunity to influence global HR practices while bringing structure, accuracy, and continuous improvement to a dynamic, international environment. The position is remote and requires working hours aligned with U.S. Eastern Time to support collaboration with U.S.-based stakeholders.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will advance HR analytics, compliance, data governance, and technology solutions by connecting operational needs with effective processes and systems.

• HR Analytics, Data Integrity & Reporting

  • Develop, maintain, and improve recurring and ad hoc HR reports, dashboards, and workforce metrics.

  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.

  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to define, document, and monitor KPIs aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Build and validate dashboard prototypes in Power BI before partnering with IT and data teams on enterprise implementation.

• HR Compliance & Auditing

  • Work with Legal, Compliance, HR leaders, and external partners to monitor applicable employment requirements, including relevant U.S. government contracting obligations.

  • Support the development and maintenance of practical HR compliance frameworks across global locations.

  • Coordinate audit readiness and support internal and external audits through documentation, validated data extracts, evidence collection, and remediation tracking.

  • Establish data governance practices that protect the accuracy, integrity, privacy, and appropriate use of HR information.

  • Contribute to HR standard operating procedures and establish sustainable review and update processes.

  • Develop repeatable compliance monitoring, audit, and reporting routines that can be maintained by HR Operations teams.

• HR Technology Strategy & Solution Design

  • Assess business needs and design scalable solutions across HR systems, data, controls, and processes.

  • Lead requirements definition and solution design for system structures, fields, workflows, security roles, integrations, reporting, and process changes.

  • Evaluate and rightsize projects based on business value, complexity, risk, user impact, sustainability, and downstream dependencies.

  • Translate approved designs into functional requirements, decision documentation, test scenarios, and implementation guidance for HR Technology, IT, and vendor partners.

  • Validate configurations, data flows, reporting logic, controls, and downstream impacts to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

  • Contribute HR technology expertise to global and cross-functional initiatives, promoting consistent architecture, governance, and user experience across platforms.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines substantial HR operations experience with strong analytical capabilities, HR technology expertise, and a practical understanding of compliance and data governance in international organizations.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

• At least 7 years of progressive experience in HR operations, including significant responsibility for people analytics, HR compliance, reporting, or data governance.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.

• Strong HR technology experience, including solution design across core HRIS, recruiting, learning, performance, or compensation platforms. BambooHR experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to define system requirements covering fields, data structures, workflows, integrations, security, reporting, and controls.

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, including the ability to validate data, document assumptions and logic, and communicate findings to different audiences.

• Experience establishing reporting, audit, compliance, technology, or data governance practices within a global or multi-entity organization.

• Fluent written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills for international and cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience partnering with system administrators, IT teams, and vendors throughout solution design, testing, implementation, and stabilization.

• High level of integrity, confidentiality, ownership, and professionalism when handling sensitive HR information.

• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across global time zones, including outside standard local business hours when required.

• Ability to work at a desk for extended periods and willingness to travel, generally up to 5% of the time.
