Job summary

Harris India, part of Harris Computer and Constellation Software, is seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to align people strategies with BU priorities in Mumbai.

You will partner with BU leadership on workforce planning, leadership development, and employee experience, driving engagement, inclusion, and performance management. This is an in‑office role with 12 to 9pm IST hours, offering growth in a global tech environment.

Qualifications

  • MBA/PGDM required with HR focus; 10–15 years of progressive HR experience with strong partnering.
  • Experience partnering with leadership teams to drive strategic people initiatives.
  • Exposure to global or matrixed organizations; HRIS and payroll experience a plus.

This position supports one of Harris Computer’s high‑growth business units. The HR Business Partner will work closely with BU leadership to define and execute people strategies that strengthen business performance, build leadership capability, and foster a culture of engagement and inclusion.


Job Summary

We are looking for a strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and leadership teams. This role will focus on aligning people strategies with organizational priorities — driving talent planning, leadership development, workforce capability, and employee experience across the BU.

Key Responsibilities


  1. Strategic Business Partnership. Partner with Business Unit leadership to translate business strategies into actionable HR plans that drive performance, engagement, and organizational success. Serve as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, organizational design, and succession management to ensure long‑term talent readiness. Build strong relationships with leaders to influence decision‑making and provide strategic guidance on people priorities. Provide counsel to employees and managers on sensitive personnel matters, maintaining confidentiality and supporting effective conflict resolution. Manage all aspects of employee relations, including promotions, demotions, coaching, terminations, and integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Support employee and management development by contributing to or facilitating internal training sessions on performance management, talent reviews, wellness, and workplace safety. Oversee onboarding and assimilation of new employees, ensuring smooth transitions through orientation programs, benefits education, and company initiatives. Administer and enhance the performance review process, ensuring system updates, timely completion tracking, and analysis of performance outcomes. Maintain and monitor HR data accuracy in Workday (HRIS) by reviewing and approving transactions regularly. Continuously improve HR procedures by identifying process gaps, recommending enhancements, and implementing best practices for greater efficiency. Leverage people analytics (attrition, engagement, productivity) to anticipate challenges and design proactive interventions. Support business transformation initiatives, including M&A integrations, organizational restructuring, and change enablement programs.

  2. Talent & Leadership Development. Drive leadership and managerial capability through structured development programs, coaching, and mentoring. Collaborate with Learning & Development (L&D) and global HR teams to identify skill gaps and deploy targeted learning interventions that build future‑ready talent. Lead succession planning and talent review processes, ensuring a strong internal pipeline for critical roles. Foster a performance‑driven culture by embedding continuous feedback, recognition programs, and accountability frameworks.

  3. Employee Engagement & Organizational Culture. Design and execute engagement strategies that elevate employee experience, well‑being, and retention. Champion Harris’s core values — Respect, Integrity, Responsibility, and Growth — while promoting eNoah’s employee‑first philosophy. Analyze engagement insights and implement targeted action plans to strengthen morale, inclusion, and productivity. Facilitate open and transparent communication between leaders and employees to promote trust and collaboration.

  4. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). Lead and embed DEI initiatives within the business unit, ensuring fairness, representation, and belonging across all levels. Partner with leadership teams to uphold equitable practices in recruitment, promotions, learning, and career development.

  5. HR Operations & Governance. Ensure operational excellence by maintaining HR processes that are efficient, compliant, and aligned with global Harris standards. Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (TA, L&D, Compensation & Benefits) to deliver seamless and consistent HR services across the organization. Maintain data accuracy and integrity in HR systems, using analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and workforce effectiveness.


Job Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience


  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related field.

  • 10–15 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on business partnering.

  • Demonstrated experience working with leadership teams to drive strategic people initiatives.

  • Deep understanding of organization design, talent planning, and performance management.

  • Exposure to working in matrixed or global organizations preferred.

  • Proven experience supporting or leading HR system integrations (HRIS, payroll, benefits, or third‑party platforms), particularly during M&A, transformations, or system upgrades.

  • Strong ability to partner with IT, HR CoEs, and vendors on data migration, validation, and stabilization to ensure seamless end‑to‑end HR process continuity.
