Job summary

ElderGo in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on HR leader to own the end-to-end people function. You will design and run hiring, onboarding, payroll, attendance, records, and exits, reporting directly to the founders. This role has no existing HR team, so your decisions will shape a scalable function as ElderGo grows.

You’ll build HR processes, partner with leadership, and create people programs to support rapid expansion and employee well‑being in a fast-moving travel company.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on HR experience.
• Led a full hiring process from start to finish.
• Based in Bengaluru, or willing to relocate to Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end HR function for ElderGo, including payroll, attendance, records and exits.
• Run hiring end to end: post roles, source candidates, guide founders through decisions, and onboard new hires.
• Build and manage HR processes in a growing company with no current HR team.
• Partner with founders to design scalable people programs and operations.

ElderGo is India's dedicated travel company for seniors. We design and run all-inclusive group tours - in India and abroad - for retired travellers who want to see the world in comfort, safety and good company. For a lot of our travellers, these turn out to be the best months of their retirement.

India has one of the largest and fastest growing senior populations in the world, and almost nobody is building seriously for them. We are. We're growing quickly, we're adding new destinations and departures, and the team has to grow with it.

That's the job. We're looking for the person who will build this team.

The Role

You'll own HR at ElderGo - the whole of it, not a slice of it.

You'll run our hiring end to end: taking our roles to market, finding the people, moving them through the process with the founders, and bringing them on board. Once they join, they're yours to look after - settling them in, their records and paperwork, attendance and payroll, the exits when they come, and the everyday things that decide whether people stay.

There is no HR function here today. You are it. Which means a great deal of how this works gets decided by you, and you'll see the results of your own decisions within weeks rather than years.

Who You'll Work With

You'll work directly with the founders - no layer in between, no waiting for a decision to travel up and back down. They are in the business every day, building it hands-on, and they'll be in the hiring rooms with you.

Every person who joins ElderGo from here on will have come through you. That's not a small thing in a company that’s about to grow several times over.
