Job summary

ElderGo in Bengaluru seeks a Travel Contracting Executive to own the buying side of international group tours. You will source DMCs, negotiate rates for hotels, transport, guides, and finalize terms and deposits. You will manage group air routings and keep suppliers aligned from quote to execution.

Based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate, you will work with the founders and build a supplier base while ensuring profitable trips and smooth operations for senior travelers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience negotiating rates with hotels, transport or DMCs.
• Experience buying in international destinations.
• Comfortable working in English and Hindi.
• Based in Bengaluru, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Own the buying side of every trip we run, finding and evaluating DMCs and ground handlers in each destination.
• Pull quotes from several suppliers and determine what we actually pay for hotels, transport, guides and other on-ground services.
• Negotiate rates, deposits, cancellation windows, terms and write them in contracts.
• Handle group air: routings, bulk fares, consolidator terms and deadlines.
• After a trip is sold, stay with it and manage on-ground changes and supplier communications to keep trips profitable.

ElderGo is India's dedicated travel company for seniors. We design and run all-inclusive group tours - international and domestic - for retired travellers who want to see the world in comfort, safety and good company. India has one of the largest and fastest-growing senior populations anywhere, and almost nobody is building seriously for them. We are, we’re growing fast, and nearly all of our travel is international.

The Role

You’ll own the buying side of every trip we run. You’ll find and evaluate DMCs and ground handlers in each destination, pull quotes from several of them, and work out what we actually pay for hotels, transport, guides and everything else on the ground. You’ll agree the rates and the terms - deposits, cancellation windows, what's in and what isn't - and get it in writing. You’ll handle our group air: routings, bulk fares, consolidator terms and the deadlines that come with them.

Once a trip is sold, you stay with it. When something moves on the ground - a hotel, a vehicle, a guide - you’re the one the vendor hears from. Someone else designs the itinerary. You make it possible, and you make it profitable.

Who Should Apply

• At least 2 years where you personally negotiated rates with hotels, transport companies or DMCs - not where someone else handled the rates. This is essential.
• Experience buying in international destinations.
• Comfortable working in English and Hindi.
• Based in Bengaluru, or ready to be.
