Job summary

ORN Journeys in Bengaluru seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead the complete HR function and partner with business leaders to drive people strategies. This is a hands-on, leadership role focused on delivering scalable HR processes and strong employee experience.

You will own talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compliance, HR operations, analytics, and retention initiatives to boost business performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of HR experience with ownership of core HR functions.

Job description

We are looking for an HR Manager who can independently manage and lead the complete HR function - from talent acquisition and employee engagement to performance management, HR operations, compliance, and employee relations.

This is a hands-on HR leadership role for someone who can work closely with business leaders and managers, understand organisational requirements, take ownership of people-related decisions, and build HR processes that improve employee experience and business performance.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant HR experience, with demonstrated ownership of core HR functions.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements relevant to India, with the ability to implement fair and consistent practices.
• Proficiency in HR documentation, reporting, HRIS tools, and using data to inform people decisions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of HRMS/HRIS and MS Office.
• Skills in organizational development, change management, and designing engagement and retention initiatives.
• Strong ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make sound HR decisions.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the travel, tourism, hospitality, e-commerce, or service industry will be an advantage.
