Job summary

Schaeffler Global Services India Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced IT project specialist to lead and deliver SAP Concur travel solutions across global deployments. You will manage planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination to optimize travel operations and policies.

The ideal candidate has extensive SAP Concur experience, strong HR IT and integration skills, and excellent English communication. International exposure and agile project practices are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Extensive SAP Concur experience (8+ years) with international exposure.
• Strong knowledge of travel management systems and their integration with ERP/financials.
• Experience in HR IT initiatives related to travel solutions.
• Experience with agile and waterfall approaches (Scrum, Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and rollouts of global Travel Solution, Concur, with planning, execution, and delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Drive milestones, coordinate resources, and oversee deliverables.
• Contribute to demand management: time planning, effort estimation, and external partner coordination.
• Collaborate with HR and finance to optimize travel operations and policies.
• Manage integration and configuration of travel management systems.
• Ensure compliance with travel policies in configurations and workflows.
• Support daily operations and system functionality of travel solutions.
• Resolve incident tickets and coordinate handover with external partners.
• Ensure continuous system availability and performance.
• Participate in scrum events and maintain JIRA for agile work organization.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects and rollouts of our global Travel Solution, Concur, taking responsibility for planning, execution, and completion within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Drive project milestones, coordinate resources, and oversee project deliverables.
• Contribute to the demand management process, including time planning, effort estimation, and coordination with external partners.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to understand travel needs and develop strategies to optimize travel operations and policies.
• Manage the integration and configuration of travel management systems.
• Ensure compliance with travel policies and regulations by integrating them into system configurations and workflows.
• Support daily operations related to our travel solutions, ensuring seamless system functionality.
• Resolve incident tickets and service requests and coordinate ticket handover and specific case management with external partners.
• Ensure continuous system availability and performance.
• Participate in scrum events and maintain JIRA for agile work organization.

Your Qualifications

• Depth knowledge of SAP HCM master data
• Experience in supporting data management within authorization and identity management
• Knowledge of standard integrations with financial systems
• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or comparable qualifications.
• Extensive experience (at least 8 years) with SAP Concur with international experience and additional experience in similar travel management solutions represent a plus.
• Strong understanding of corporate travel management systems and best practices in travel strategy and operations.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in executing HR IT initiatives related to travel solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; beginner-level skills in German are optional.
• International experience, having lived or worked abroad.
• Ability to work independently and proactively within a team environment.
• Experience with agile and waterfall approaches, including tools and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and JIRA.
• A good understanding of enterprise integration, and the specific challenges related to interacting with complex ERP environments is very beneficial.
