Job summary

Equiniti India Pvt Ltd in Chennai is seeking a People Partner (HRBP) to manage the full employee life cycle for the assigned division. Work location is Chennai (Office) with UK shift and 1 opening.

The candidate should have postgraduate HRM and an MBA in HR from a leading institute, with strong HR fundamentals, communication, leadership, and people skills to drive engagement and HR programs across the business.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate in HRM from a recognised institute.
• MBA in Human Resources from a leading institute.
• Prior experience in HRBP or equivalent roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement HR programs and practices for the assigned business units.
• Design initiatives to enhance employee experience.
• Drive engagement activities for the BU and Chennai location.
• Collaborate with business leaders and HR director for program implementation.
• Partner with HR leads on workforce analytics and interventions.
• Track HR metrics and report to senior stakeholders as required.
• Support retention discussions and proactive retention strategies.
• Contribute to performance management, rewards, engagement, and CSR initiatives.
• Implement policies and communicate them to team members; handle employee relations issues.

Role Summary

As People Partner, this role will be responsible for entire employee life cycle from onboarding to exit for assigned division. Work Location: Chennai (Work from Office) No of Positions: 1 (Chennai) Shift: UK shift

Core Duties/Responsibilities

Responsible managing the HRBP, Operations & HR initiatives for the Bengaluru/Chennai location.

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

Key Responsibilities

• Work on implementing Human Resources programs and practices for respective business unit(s)
• Contribute towards designing initiatives aimed at enhancing Employee Experience
• Driving Engagement activities for specific BU as well as Bengaluru / Chennai location.
• Working with respective Business leaders and HR director for implementation of business Unit specific HR programs, employee connects
• Work with the respective HR leads on Workforce analytics and designing interventions accordingly.
• HR metrics tracking, analysing, and reporting with SBU HR, business leaders, etc. as per requirement.
• Support retention discussions, management and facilitate towards proactive retention strategies.
• Support halfyearly Performance Management, Rewards, Engagement, Fun & CSR initiatives.
• Policy and Process implementation/ communication to the team members Employee Relations - Issue/ Query resolution, grievance handling
• Support various types of people issues, viz performance, absenteeism, behavioural, sensitivity, workplace harassment, diversity, POSH
