Role Purpose
The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic and operational HR leader for the Rehabilitation Centre, leveraging prior hospital experience to support clinical, therapeutic, and support staff. The role focuses on workforce planning, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and culture-building in a patient‑centric healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Centre Leadership to align HR strategy with clinical and operational goals.
- Advise management on workforce planning, manpower optimization, and succession planning.
- Support expansion, new programs, and accreditation‑related HR needs.
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for clinical roles (Doctors, Nurses, Therapists, Psychologists) and non‑clinical staff.
- Coordinate with medical leadership on credentialing, licensing, and onboarding requirements.
- Ensure staffing ratios comply with regulatory and patient care standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies and workplace issues.
- Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to reduce burnout and attrition.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems for healthcare professionals.
- Support managers with performance improvement plans (PIPs).
- Identify training needs and coordinate clinical and non‑clinical learning programs.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare labor laws, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
- Oversee attendance, shift management, leave, and contract administration.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and employee records.
- Support compensation benchmarking aligned with healthcare industry standards.
- Manage benefits administration and employee wellness programs.
- Develop retention strategies for critical clinical talent.
- Promote a patient‑first, ethical, and empathetic workplace culture.
- Support change initiatives including new processes, systems, or organizational restructuring.
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and staff wellbeing.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA / Master’s in HR or equivalent qualification.
- 5–10 years of HR experience, preferably in hospital or healthcare.
- Strong understanding of healthcare staffing, compliance, and labor laws.
- Experience working closely with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.
