Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is seeking a HPDC & Mould Fitting Supervisor to manage the fitting and assembly of Bumper and Instrument Panels. Candidates should have 4-9 years of experience in the automotive sector, ideally with mould development or manufacturing experience.

The selected individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, co-ordinating with various sections, and ensuring workplace safety while adhering to Kaizen principles. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and UG-NX, are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-9 years of experience in a relevant supervisory role.
• Experience with Bumper/IP injection mould fitting and assembly.
• Familiarity with Kaizen principles.

Responsibilities

• Independently work on Bumper/IP injection mould fitting and assembly.
• Co-ordinate with machining, inspection and quality sections.
• Attend die trials and troubleshoot problems.

Required Experience

4 – 9 Years

Job Responsibilities

• Work independently in Bumper/IP injection mould fitting & assembly.
• Co-ordinate with machining, inspection and quality sections.
• Attend die trials at customer end and troubleshoot the problems faced.
• Work for the reduction of fitting hours & cost through Kaizen.
• Ensure the safety of workplace and do timely KYT, HHT.
• Monitor fitting hours of the associates and time sheet data updation.
• Ensure proper 5s in the work area.
• Trial defects analysis and countermeasure planning through PDCA.

Technical / Functional

• Good drawing reading skills & knowledge of Fits & Tolerances.
• Knowledge of mould manufacturing process and tool room machines.
• Knowledge of die materials and heat treatment.
• Knowledge of moulding machines.
• Knowledge of moulding defects and countermeasures.
• Good analytical skills.
• Very good problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft office productivity software.
• Basic knowledge of CNC milling, EDM machines.
• Basic knowledge of design software – UG-NX.
• Effective verbal and written communication skill.

Preferred Organization

• 4-wheeler OEMs with Mould development/ Manufacturing experience: KIA, Hyundai, Toyota, Honda, VW, M&M, Renault, Nissan, MG, TATA, Bajaj, Eicher, Force Motors, etc.
• Tier-1 Bumper/ Instrument panel Injection mould manufacturers for OEMs.
