Job summary

Oakswood Workforce Private Limited is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Trainer to train housekeeping staff deployed at client sites in Surjagad, Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. You will conduct both classroom and on-site practical training, improve cleanliness standards, hygiene practices, and safety.

Travel to client locations may be required; strong communication and mentoring skills are essential for guiding supervisors and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping operations and/or housekeeping training.
• Previous experience in hotels, hospitals, facility management, corporate housekeeping or industrial housekeeping will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, machines and housekeeping SOPs.
• Ability to conduct practical demonstrations and explain procedures clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct induction and housekeeping training for new and existing employees.
• Train staff on proper cleaning methods for offices, rooms, washrooms, common areas and other assigned facilities.
• Demonstrate correct usage of cleaning chemicals, tools, machines and housekeeping equipment.
• Train employees on hygiene, sanitation and infection-prevention practices.
• Provide training on personal grooming, uniform standards and workplace discipline.
• Educate staff about workplace safety, PPE usage and safe chemical handling.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and on-the-job training at client sites.
• Identify skill gaps among housekeeping staff and arrange refresher training.
• Train housekeeping supervisors on team handling, work allocation and quality monitoring.
• Maintain training attendance, records and assessment reports.
• Conduct periodic evaluations of trained employees.
• Support the operations team in maintaining housekeeping service quality.
• Coordinate with site managers and supervisors regarding training requirements and performance issues.
• Ensure employees follow client-specific SOPs and housekeeping standards.

Candidate Requirements

Preferred Experience

3+ years of experience in housekeeping, facility management or housekeeping training.
