Job summary

Havelock Island Beach Resort in the Andaman region is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across guest rooms, public areas, and facilities while ensuring smooth daily operations.

You will lead and train staff, coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance, manage inventory and resources, and handle guest concerns with a focus on SOP compliance and high standards.

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation across guest rooms, public areas, and resort facilities while ensuring smooth daily operations and effective team management.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure cleanliness and hygiene throughout the resort.
• Supervise, train, and manage housekeeping staff, including supervisors and associates.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality standards.
• Manage room readiness and coordinate with the Front Office team for check-ins and check-outs.
• Maintain inventory of linen, cleaning supplies, amenities, and housekeeping equipment.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team to resolve repair and maintenance issues.
• Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare staff duty rosters, monitor attendance, and allocate daily responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, hygiene standards, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Monitor departmental expenses and ensure the efficient use of resources.
