Job summary

East India Hotels (EIH) is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to maintain pristine guest rooms and suites in line with Oberoi luxury standards. You will perform cleaning, turn-down services, and replenish amenities to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

You will greet guests, handle special requests, and promptly report issues while adhering to safety SOPs for chemicals and guest-area security. This is an entry-level program aimed at individuals aged 19–25 with luxury hospitality exposure.

• Greet guests warmly, handle special requests, report maintenance issues or lost-and-found items to the desk.
• Follow SOPs for chemical handling, laundry processing and security in guest areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Room Maintenance: Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum assigned guestrooms and suites according to strict Oberoi luxury hygiene and aestheticstandards.
• Turn-Down Service: Execute evening turn-down services impeccably, ensuring rooms areprepped for a comfortable night rest.
• InventoryManagement: Stock and manage housekeeping carts, linen closets, and guest amenities (replenishingtoiletries, stationary, and refreshments)
• GuestInteraction: Greet guests warmly,handle special requests promptly, and report any maintenance issues orlost-and-found items immediately to the desk.
• Safety& Compliance: Follow standardoperating procedures (SOPs) for chemical handling, laundry processing, andsecurity protocols within guest areas.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Degreein Hotel Management, or a high school pass with relevant luxury hospitalityexperience.
• Age/Profile: Typically between 19 and 25 years for entry-level structured programs,possessing a well-groomed and professional disposition.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic English communication skills, and acustomer-first attitude.
