Job summary

Accor in India is seeking an experienced housekeeping supervisor to lead daily briefings, uphold standards, and drive guest satisfaction across all public and private spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily briefings with housekeeping staff and communicate priorities and performance goals.
• Oversee cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks; maintain accurate room status records.
• Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and supply ordering to optimize resources.
• Promote health, safety and hygiene protocols across housekeeping operations.
• Train and develop team members and monitor attendance and performance.

Job Description

• Lead daily briefings with housekeeping staff to communicate priorities, expectations, and performance goals while providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback
• Ensure guest rooms, balconies, corridors, linen rooms, and all public areas are maintained according to established standards and procedures
• Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of lobbies, hallways, common spaces, and respond promptly to guest requests and damage reports
• Conduct regular room inspections and quality control checklists to verify compliance with standards
• Maintain accurate documentation including section floor reports, room status, and occupancy information in the designated system
• Manage housekeeping equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate inventory levels and supply ordering to optimize resource utilization
• Implement and promote health, safety, and hygiene protocols across all housekeeping operations
• Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and career growth while assessing attendance, punctuality, and performance
• Report any unusual behavior or activities on floors to the Executive Housekeeper or management
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages open communication and mutual support
