Job summary

INOX in Kolkata is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Executive/Supervisor to oversee mall housekeeping operations and maintain high cleanliness standards. You will supervise staff, allocate duties, prepare rosters, and conduct frequent rounds to ensure hygiene across floors, washrooms, food court, parking and back-office areas.

Ideal candidates have 2-4 years in similar roles within malls/hotels/facility management, with strong leadership, cleanliness knowledge, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as Housekeeping Executive/Supervisor in mall/hotel/facility management.
• Mall/hospitality/facility environment experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and manpower management abilities.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and hygiene standards.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping operations, manpower and cleanliness standards mall-wide.
• Supervise staff, allocate duties and prepare daily rosters and shifts.
• Conduct regular rounds and quality checks for all areas: floors, washrooms, food court, parking.
• Manage materials, chemicals, equipment inventory and vendor coordination.
• Train staff on procedures, grooming and safety standards.
• Handle audits, checklists and daily housekeeping reports.
• Address complaints and assist during events/promotions.

Job description

Responsible for overseeing and managing overall housekeeping operations, manpower, and cleanliness standards of the mall premises to ensure a hygienic and pleasant environment for customers and staff.

Supervise housekeeping staff, allocate duties and prepare daily rosters & shift schedules Ensure high standards of cleanliness in all areas - mall floors, washrooms, food court, parking, back-office Conduct regular floor rounds and quality checks Manage housekeeping materials, cleaning chemicals, and equipment inventory Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, grooming & safety standards Coordinate with vendors / housekeeping agency for manpower and compliance Handle audits, checklists and daily housekeeping reports Ensure timely complaint resolution and support during events/promotions

Preferred candidate profile
