Key Responsibilities

• Housekeeping Operations: Manage day-to-day housekeeping activities across hostel rooms, common areas, washrooms, classrooms, and other campus facilities.
• Team Management: Supervise housekeeping supervisors, team leaders, and housekeeping staff; allocate duties and monitor performance.
• Quality & Hygiene: Ensure high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene, and adherence to established housekeeping SOPs.
• Staff Scheduling: Prepare duty rosters, manage attendance, allocate manpower, and ensure adequate staffing across shifts.
• Inventory Management: Monitor housekeeping supplies, cleaning materials, equipment, and linen; ensure optimal utilization and control wastage.
• Inspection & Audits: Conduct regular inspections, maintain checklists, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Student & Stakeholder Engagement: Address housekeeping-related complaints and coordinate with students, campus administration, and other departments to ensure timely resolution.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with housekeeping vendors and service providers, monitor service quality, and ensure compliance with agreed standards.
• Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, chemical-handling procedures, waste-management practices, and hygiene standards.
• Reporting: Maintain daily operational reports, attendance records, inventory records, audit reports, and performance metrics.
• Cost Control: Monitor housekeeping expenses, optimize resource utilization, and support budget planning.
• Training & Development: Train housekeeping staff on SOPs, cleaning techniques, hygiene practices, customer service, and workplace safety.
