Job description

• To ensure smooth functioning of hostels, canteen, cafeteria, and other amenities.
• To supervise housekeeping activities to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• To oversee warden activities such as counselling students on academic performance and personal issues.
• To manage security measures to ensure a safe living environment for residents.
• To coordinate with college administration for maintenance of facilities.

Hostel Administration Operations

• Operations Leadership: Manage end-to-end operations for large-capacity female hostels, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and high service quality.
• Documentation: Handle room allotment, occupancy planning, and maintain precise records (e.g., student registers, guest logs).
• Maintenance Infrastructure: Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure 24/7 utilities, sanitation, cleanliness, and building upkeep.
• Mess Management: Supervise caterers, monitor mess/cafeteria food quality, hygiene standards, and student satisfaction.

Student Welfare Discipline

• Safety Security: Implement strict security protocols (e.g., 24/7 surveillance, biometric, visitor logs) with a focus on womens safety.
• Conflict Resolution: Address student grievances, manage conflicts, and act as a mentor or advisor.
• Discipline Enforcement: Enforce university hostel rules (e.g., in-times, anti-ragging policies) and impose penalties/fines for violations.
• Mentorship: Provide a safe, inclusive environment and facilitate initial counselling for students in distress.

Team Management Compliance

• Supervision: Guide a multi-tier team, including assistant wardens, caretakers, and security/housekeeping personnel.
• Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to university policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Budgeting: Assist in budgeting, cost control, procurement, and resource optimization.

Emergency Crisis Management

• Primary Contact: Act as the first authority during emergencies, including medical, security, or infrastructural crises.
• Liaison: Coordinate with campus security, local authorities, parents/guardians, and university administration.
