Job summary

2coms is seeking a proactive Civil Supervisor to oversee daily on-site construction activities in Kolkata, ensuring work is performed per drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

The ideal candidate will read civil drawings, manage subcontractors and site teams, monitor progress and costs, and travel to multiple project sites as required.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in civil construction/site supervision.
• Ability to read and understand civil drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Knowledge of site safety and quality standards.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel across project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site civil and construction activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, laborers, and site teams.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve day-to-day construction issues.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and equipment usage.
• Prepare daily site progress reports and maintain relevant documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Assist in monitoring project costs and material usage.
• Guide and supervise junior staff and site laborers.
• Handle multiple project sites and travel as required.
