Job summary

2coms in Kolkata is seeking a proactive Civil Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities and ensure projects are completed as per drawings, quality standards, safety requirements and timelines. Ideal candidate has 1–2 years of civil construction experience and an ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

The role requires reading civil drawings and coordinating with subcontractors, site teams, and Project Managers across multiple sites with travel.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in civil construction/site supervision.
• Ability to read civil drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Knowledge of site safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site civil and construction activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, laborers, and site teams.
• Ensure work is as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve day-to-day construction issues.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and equipment usage.
• Prepare daily site progress reports and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Assist in monitoring project costs and material usage.
• Guide and supervise junior staff and site laborers.
