Job summary

Stanley Lifestyles in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Logistics Manager to own end-to-end logistics for our Jigani manufacturing plant. You will oversee inbound, outbound, warehousing, and white-glove delivery of high-value furniture.

You will lead 3PLs, drive cost optimization, implement SAP/TMS/WMS, and ensure OTIF compliance while building SOPs and teams. MBA/PGDM with 8–12 years in logistics and furniture preferred.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in logistics / distribution, furniture or consumer durables.
• Experience handling high-value / bulky goods is mandatory.
• Experience in 3PL management and pan-India distribution.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end logistics for the manufacturing plant located in Jigani, Bengaluru.
• Manage inbound, outbound, warehousing and last-mile delivery with white-glove service.
• Lead 3PLs, transporters and vendors; negotiate freight and optimize OTIF.
• Implement SAP/TMS/WMS, barcoding/RFID and ERP discipline.
• Drive cost optimization, SOPs and process improvements for logistics.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager ( Male Candidate ) to own end-to-end logistics for our manufacturing plant at Jigani . The role is responsible for inbound, outbound, warehousing, last-mile delivery of high-value furniture, cost optimization, and customer experience for white-glove delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Outbound & Retail Distribution

• Manage dispatch of finished goods from factory/central warehouse to end users
• Plan and execute white-glove, last-mile delivery for luxury furniture - including installation coordination with retail and service teams
• Manage 3PL, transporters and dedicated fleet vendors; negotiate freight and ensure OTIF
• Reduce transit damages - define SOPs for handling, packing, loading of premium furniture & leather products

2. Inbound & Manufacturing Logistics

• Manage inbound logistics for raw materials - wood, leather, hardware, foam, imported materials
• Coordinate with procurement, production planning and stores for JIT supply to factory
• Handle import shipments, CHA, customs clearance, and ICD Bangalore operations

3. Warehousing & Inventory Movement

• Oversee central warehouse operations at Hosur Road - space utilization, WMS, inventory accuracy, stock transfers
• Implement barcoding / RFID and ERP discipline in SAP / Oracle

4. Cost, Compliance & Optimization

• Own logistics P&L - freight budgeting, cost per cbm / per km, reverse logistics cost
• Identify route optimization, load consolidation, and hub-and-spoke models to reduce cost
• Ensure compliance with e-way bills, GST, e-invoicing, and transport regulations
• Lead logistics audits, insurance claims for transit damage/loss

5. Team & Vendor Management

• Lead team of warehouse executives, logistics coordinators and delivery teams
• Manage and evaluate 20+ transport vendors, warehousing partners and packaging vendors
• Build SOPs, training for handling luxury products

6. Technology & Process Improvement

• Drive implementation of TMS, WMS, and real-time shipment tracking
• Dashboard reporting on OTIF, delivery lead time, freight cost, damages, returns
• Lead reverse logistics for service returns, refurbishments and warranty replacements

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Graduate in any discipline with relevant experience
• Experience: 8-12 years in logistics / distribution, with at least 3 years in furniture, home decor, consumer durables, retail or building materials. Experience in handling high-value / bulky goods is mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of WMS, TMS, SAP MM/SD, MS Excel, route planning, e-way bill & GST logistics compliance
• Leadership: Proven experience managing large 3PL network and pan-India distribution
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, vendor management, customer-centric mindset
