Job summary

Abacus Consultants in Mumbai seeks a dynamic loan sales professional to meet potential customers on builder/developer sites and pitch our home loan offerings.

You will drive marketing, sales and brand-building activities to attract new customers, manage the loan sanction and disbursement process, and handle pre/post-loan activities including financial analysis and risk assessment. MBA preferred; mortgage background required.

Qualifications

• MBA background in mortgage
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills required.
• Experience in selling financial products HL/LAP, Insurance is a must.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers on builder/developer site locations and pitch loan products.
• Conduct marketing, sales and brand-building activities to attract new customers.
• Sanction & disbursement of files per month as per targets.
• Carry out pre- and post-loan activities related to home loans, including acquisition of new clients and renewal client maintenance, financial analysis, initial risk assessment, presenting loan applications to Sanctioning team, portfolio administration, and prioritizing repayments to preserve portfolio quality.
• Obtain legal, credit and technical documents for loan proposals and resolve customer queries.
• Inform potential clients about requirements, terms & conditions, procedures to obtain a loan, payment importance and penalties, insurance, etc.
• Inform the client about the Credit decision on their application.

Job Purpose

• Conduct marketing, sales & brand building activity to attract new customers.
• Sanction & disbursement of files per month as per the targets assigned
• Carry out the pre and post-loan activities related to the home loans, meaning: acquisition of new clients and maintenance of renewal clients, financial analysis, initial risk assessment, presenting the loan applications to the Sanctioning team, portfolio administration, prioritizing the repayment of loans to preserve the portfolio quality.
• Getting legal, credit and technical documents completed for the loan proposal and resolve customers queries.
• Inform potential clients about the requirements, T&C of the home loan product, the procedures to obtain a loan, the importance of the payments on time, the penalties system in case of not paying on time, insurance, etc.
• Inform the client about the Credit decision on their application
