Job summary

Abacus Consultants in Gujarat is hiring a field-based sales professional to promote Godrej Housing Finance loan products, including home loans against property. You will meet builders and developers on site and pitch our offerings.

The role requires handling marketing, client acquisition, and end-to-end loan processing from sanction to disbursement, ensuring timely repayments and portfolio quality. MBA with 2 years sales experience preferred; strong communication and negotiation skills are

Qualifications

• MBA with 2 years’ experience in Sales.
• Background in mortgage sales preferred.
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
• Experience in selling financial products – HL/LAP, Insurance is a must.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers on builder/developer site locations and pitch our loan product offerings to them.
• Conduct marketing, sales & brand building activity to attract new customers.
• Sanction & disbursement of files per month as per the targets assigned.
• Carry out pre and post-loan activities related to home loans: client acquisition and renewal, financial analysis, risk assessment, presenting loan applications to Sanctioning team, portfolio administration, prioritizing repayments to preserve quality.
• Obtain legal, credit and technical documents for loan proposals and resolve customer queries.
• Inform potential clients about loan requirements, terms & conditions, procedures, timely payments, penalties, and insurance implications.

Job Purpose

The role holder will be responsible for selling Godrej Housing Finance's loan products loan against property and other related products.

Role

• Meet customers on builder/ developer site locations and pitch our loan product offerings to them


• Conduct marketing, sales & brand building activity to attract new customers.


• Sanction & disbursement of files per month as per the targets assigned


• Carry out the pre and post-loan activities related to the home loans, meaning: acquisition of new clients and maintenance of renewal clients, financial analysis, initial risk assessment, presenting the loan applications to the Sanctioning team, portfolio administration, prioritizing the repayment of loans to preserve the portfolio quality.


• Getting legal, credit and technical documents completed for the loan proposal and resolve customers’ queries.


• Inform potential clients about the requirements, T&C of the home loan product, the procedures to obtain a loan, the importance of the payments on time, the penalties system in case of not paying on time, insurance, etc.


• Inform the client about the Credit decision on their application

Qualification & experience

MBA with 2 years’ experience in Sales.
Background in mortgage Sales preferred
