Job summary

Greythr is seeking a Senior Consultant - Accounting & Advisory in Chennai to support global clients with financial reporting, month-end close, and technical accounting tasks. The role involves coordinating with UK/US clients for data gathering and resolving queries.

The ideal candidate is a CA fresher or up to 2 years PQE, with strong fundamentals in financial reporting, Excel skills, and experience with IFRS/UK GAAP/US GAAP. Knowledge of AI-enabled finance tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• CA fresher or up to 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong fundamentals in financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Good analytical, documentation, and Excel skills.
• Experience in Big 6 Indian practice is an advantage.
• Knowledge of AI/digital finance technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Strong expertise in Full-Cycle Accounting including AP, AR, GL, and financial reporting
• Support statutory reporting and audit coordination
• Interact with UK/US clients for data gathering and query resolution

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, working in a team environment.

• Experience in the Big 6 firms (Indian practice only) is an advantage
• Knowledge/ Experience with AI-driven automation and digital finance technologies, blockchain, cryptocurrency etc. is a plus
• Strong ethical standards and attention to detail
