Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering professional for field O&M of electrical equipment in Bhopal. You will oversee preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance across transformers, motors, switchgears, and DG sets, ensuring uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and predictive maintenance.
• Familiar with SLD and protection systems.
• Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of DG sets.
• Exposure in manpower and customer management.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements of electrical inspectorate.
• Ability to train and build a reliability team.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Orientation towards continual improvement.
• Provide excellent customer service and effective communication strategies.
• Coordination with Client, HQ and stakeholders.
• Capable to manage the customer relationship.
• Monsoon activity planning as precautionary action.
• Implementation of EHS & Quality Documents & procedures.
• Implementation of site SOPs at a work site.
• Managing Subcontracts, vendor contracts, supply agreements, Purchase orders, amendments.
• Monitoring KPIs.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.
• Root cause analysis for failures.
• Implementation & Monitoring the Computerized maintenance management system.

• Candidate should have either a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 3-8 years of experience OR BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/EEE with 3-8 years of experience.
• Experience in the field of operation and maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Having a keen experience in O&M of Various capacity Transformers, HT & LT motors, HT & LT switchgears, Capacitors etc.,
• Having hands-on experience in Preventive maintenance, Breakdown maintenance and predictive maintenance
• Should be familiar with SLD and protection systems
• Should have hands on experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of DG sets
• Exposure in manpower management and customer management.
• Thorough Knowledge in statutory requirement of electrical inspectorate.
• Should have ability to train and build a strong reliability team
