Job summary

Zweizag is seeking a Hardware Engineer for Chennai with 3–6 years of experience. The role focuses on embedded hardware for automotive ECUs, including schematic design, PCB layout, and rigorous validation. Immediate joining is preferred.

Candidates should have BE/BTech and be ready to contribute to cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Required skills include Altium Designer, OrCAD, and Ansys for design and simulations, plus hands-on debugging and lab benchmarking.

Qualifications

• Design and develop embedded hardware systems for automotive ECUs.
• Perform schematic design, component selection, and PCB layout.
• Conduct circuit simulations and support SI/PI and thermal analysis.
• Execute hardware bring-up, debugging and validation with standard lab equipment.
• Participate in design reviews and perform DFMEA and reliability analysis.
• Support manufacturing through DFM and DFT activities, including test fixture development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded hardware systems for automotive applications (ECUs).
• Perform schematic design, component selection, and perform PCB lay outing.
• Conduct circuit simulations, and support Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and thermal analysis.
• Execute hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation using standard lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.).
• Participate in design reviews and perform DFMEA and reliability analysis.
• Support manufacturing through DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testability) activities, including test fixture development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, validation) for system integration.

Experience with Altium Designer /OrCAD, and Ansys for schematic design, PCB layout, and simulations
