BMC Helix is seeking an AMS Consultant for on-site operations at the Gurgaon location. The role focuses on TSSA and BHAC administration, with responsibility for patch management, automation, and vulnerability remediation in a high-volume managed services environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure service delivery, patching, and reporting are completed on time, while following ITIL processes and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5-15 years of relevant experience in managed services or enterprise production support.
• Extensive experience in implementation, administration, configuration, and support of BMC TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA/BSA).
• Hands-on experience with BMC Helix Automation Console (BHAC, TSAC), including vulnerability remediation and patch management use cases.

BMC Helix Global Services Delivery (GSD) is responsible for delivering BMC Helix solutions to customers worldwide. The organization provides opportunities to solve complex business and operational challenges through a consultative approach, manage current BMC technologies, and help customers maximize value from their investments.

The AMS Consultant will provide post-implementation and go-live operational services for the Customer environment, with primary responsibility for BMC Helix TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA) and BMC Helix Automation Console (BHAC). The role combines platform administration, automation, vulnerability remediation enablement, troubleshooting, reporting, upgrades, and continuous service improvement in a high-volume, customer-facing managed services environment.

• This is an on-site role at the Gurgaon location.
• Provide L2/L3/L4 operational support for TSSA and BHAC in line with agreed SLAs, operational procedures, and availability commitments.
• Administer and maintain TSSA and BHAC components, integrations, job schedules, content, catalogs, connectors, and supporting infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot application, platform, integration, authentication, database, agent, scan, patch, deployment, and reporting issues through structured problem management.
• Plan and execute server patching and remediation activities across Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments, including pre-checks, scheduling, deployment, validation, exception handling, and rollback coordination.
• Use BHAC to support vulnerability remediation workflows by importing or synchronizing vulnerability data, mapping vulnerabilities to remediation content, planning remediation, managing exceptions, and tracking closure status.
• Create and maintain automation jobs, packages, compliance rules, patch policies, remediation plans, dashboards, and operational reports based on approved customer requirements.
• Support application patching and software deployment through TSSA, including requirement gathering, package creation, testing, rollout planning, deployment, validation, and documentation.
• Monitor platform health, capacity, job performance, agent coverage, failed activities, backlog, and remediation progress; proactively identify and address risks.
• Recommend and plan product upgrades, patches, hotfixes, configuration improvements, and adoption of relevant new capabilities.
• Follow ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change, release, configuration, and knowledge management practices.
• Work closely with Customer service owners, infrastructure teams, security teams, application owners, BMC Helix Support, and internal stakeholders to coordinate delivery and resolve dependencies.
• Prepare service reviews, operational metrics, dashboards, root cause analyses, knowledge articles, runbooks, and continuous-improvement recommendations.
• Participate in shift operations, planned weekend activities, major incident support, and on-call coverage as required.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
• 5-15 years of relevant experience, including hands-on work in a managed services or enterprise production support environment.
• Extensive experience in implementation, administration, configuration, and support of BMC TrueSight Server Automation (TSSA/BSA)
• Hands-on experience with BMC Helix Automation Console (BHAC, earlier TSAC), including vulnerability remediation and patch management use cases.
• Experience with server inventory, compliance, patch management, software distribution, application deployment, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Experience deploying and configuring patch management for Windows, Linux, and UNIX servers.
• Ability to create and manage depot objects, packages, jobs, schedules, policies, compliance templates, remediation content, and customer-specific reports.
• Knowledge of TSSA architecture and components, including application servers, file servers, RSCD agents, databases, authentication, and high-availability considerations.
• Understanding of BHAC integration with TSSA and vulnerability management data sources, along with remediation planning, execution, and status reporting.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating systems; networking, database, security, and infrastructure concepts.
• Knowledge of automation or scripting using tools such as NSH, PowerShell, shell scripting, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience managing product upgrades, patches, hotfixes, disaster recovery readiness, performance tuning, and platform health checks.
• ITIL knowledge and practical experience with incident, problem, change, release, and service-level management.
