Job summary

Lenexis FoodWorks Pvt Ltd is seeking a senior professional to lead food safety and quality across restaurant networks, logistics, and supplier ecosystems. You will drive audits, set standards, and support product commercialization while coordinating with suppliers and regulatory bodies.

The role requires deep expertise in food safety, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to build cross-functional partnerships with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification - Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Microbiology.
• Specific Certification - Food safety certifications (e.g. FSSAI / HACCP) preferred.
• Total Experience - 12 - 15 yrs (10+ years in QSR / Food processing industry)

Responsibilities

• Restaurant Quality & Food Safety: Ensure adherence to food quality and safety standards across restaurants.
• Logistics & Supply Chain Quality: Ensure quality during transportation and establish cold-chain handling protocols with partners.
• Supplier Quality Assurance: Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier quality scorecards.
• New Product Commercialization: Support quality and safety aspects in new product development.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with FSSAI and other food safety regulations; manage inspections readiness.
• People/ Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with suppliers, authorities and internal teams.

Job Summary

The role is responsible for ensuring:

• Food quality and safety at restaurants
• Food quality and safety during logistics / transportation
• Food safety, quality and consistency of all ingredients and products supplied through approved supply partners
• Support for new product commercialization
• Regulatory compliance

The ideal candidate is a result-oriented professional with strong technical expertise, problem-solving capability, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, regulatory authorities and internal teams.

Job Responsibilities

Restaurant Quality & Food Safety

• Ensure adherence to food quality and food safety standards across all restaurants
• Conduct/oversee periodic quality and hygiene audits at store level
• Drive corrective and preventive action closure for quality deviations

Logistics & Supply Chain Quality

• Ensure food quality and safety is maintained during transportation and storage
• Establish cold-chain and handling protocols with logistics partners

Supplier Quality Assurance

• Ensure food safety, quality and consistency of all ingredients and products from approved supply partners
• Conduct supplier audits and certifications; manage supplier quality scorecards

New Product Commercialization

• Support new product development and commercialization from a quality and food-safety standpoint

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with FSSAI and other applicable food safety regulations, engaging external support where required
• Maintain documentation and readiness for regulatory inspections

People/ Stakeholder Management

• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, regulatory authorities and internal cross-functional teams

Preferred candidate profile
