Job summary

Alchemy Job is seeking a seasoned Head of Talent Acquisition – GCC to lead and scale the hiring engine for our Bangalore Global Capability Centre. The role focuses on strategic hiring, employer branding, and stakeholder management to support rapid business growth.

The candidate will drive end-to-end TA strategy, build high-performing teams, and partner with GCC leadership to forecast workforce needs across technology, product, and corporate functions. Bangalore-based role with global exposure.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience.
• Proven experience in building, scaling or managing Talent Acquisition for a GCC.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Talent Acquisition strategy for the Bangalore GCC.

• Lead large-scale hiring across Technology, Engineering, Product, Data, Finance, HR, Operations and other functions.
• Develop and manage internal TA teams and recruitment partners/RPOs.
• Drive talent mapping, market intelligence and proactive talent pipelines for critical roles.
• Strengthen Employer Branding and EVP to attract high-quality talent.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Head of Talent Acquisition – GCC to lead and build the talent acquisition strategy for our Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bangalore. The role will be responsible for developing a scalable, high-quality hiring engine to support rapid business growth across technology, corporate, and functional roles.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in GCC setup/scaling, strategic hiring, leadership recruitment, employer branding, talent strategy, and stakeholder management, with a proven track record of building high-performing TA teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the end-to-end Talent Acquisition strategy for the Bangalore GCC in alignment with business growth plans.
• Partner closely with the GCC leadership, HR leadership, and business heads to understand workforce requirements and translate them into hiring strategies.
• Lead large-scale hiring across Technology, Engineering, Product, Data, Finance, HR, Operations, and other corporate functions.
• Build and continuously improve GCC hiring processes, governance, recruitment metrics, and operating models.
• Develop and manage a high-performing internal TA team and recruitment partners/RPOs.
• Drive talent mapping, market intelligence, competitor benchmarking and proactive talent pipelines for critical and niche positions.
• Own senior and leadership hiring, including CXO-1/CXO-2 and critical functional roles as required.
• Develop strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, search firms, universities and other talent ecosystems.
• Strengthen Employer Branding and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to attract high-quality talent.
• Drive improvements in candidate experience, diversity hiring, quality of hire, time-to-hire and cost-of-hire.
• Establish robust recruitment dashboards and track key TA metrics, hiring forecasts and productivity.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, analytics and technology to improve recruitment efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, processes and applicable employment regulations.
• Act as a strategic talent advisor to senior business stakeholders and provide insights on talent availability, compensation trends and hiring challenges.

Key Requirements

• 15+ years of overall Talent Acquisition / Recruitment experience, preferably with significant experiment in a GCC, large corporate, technology or multinational environment.
• Proven experience in building, scaling or managing Talent Acquisition for a GCC.
• Strong track record of managing high-volume as well as niche and leadership hiring.
• Experience in building and leading large, high-performing TA teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of the Bangalore talent market, particularly technology and corporate functions.
• Experience with recruitment analytics, ATS platforms, sourcing strategies and modern recruitment technology.
• Strong understanding of employer branding, talent intelligence, workforce planning and diversity hiring.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented and highly collaborative environment.

Preferred Background

Candidates from established GCCs, global technology companies, consulting firms, financial services organisations, large MNCs or organisations that have built/scaled GCCs would be preferred.
