Job summary

Arkade Group in Mumbai is seeking a proactive QA/QC Lead to oversee onsite quality, coordinate with QA/QC teams, and ensure adherence to QA plans, inspection and test plans, and ISO 9001 standards.

You will drive NCR closure, vendor evaluations, pre-delivery inspection, and continuous improvement through Kaizen and value engineering, while guiding architects and consultants and ensuring zero-defect workmanship across civil, architectural and structural activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily huddle with On site Quality (QA) & Execution (QC) team. Connect & remind them with HPE.
• Develop +Measure adherence to Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), ISO 9001 QMS implementation and other relevant standards and codes.
• Ensure Weekly Quality Walk on site to assess on going product and process.
• Track and improve the efficiency of resolving Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) by measuring the average time taken from identification to closure.
• Provide vendor evaluations based on Quality Parameters to Purchase and Contracts for their quarterly/half yearly Assessment.
• Provide design inputs to architects and consultants to simplify execution of components.
• Train On site Quality (QA) & Execution (QC) team on their PE roles.
• Working towards Zero defect product by ensuring effective pre-possession inspection and product excellence.
• Perform pre delivery inspection at Manufacturing unit.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality processes through Value Engineering and Kaizen methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure superior product quality.
• Lead the team wholly and completely. Demonstrate visible leadership.
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire projects including certificates, test results, inspection requests reports & site inspection/observations for the closure of non-conformance and site instruction.
• Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, through knowledge of all phase of engineering construction relating to civil, architectural and structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
• Developer method statement for the activity, inspection and test plans, and checklists based on the project specifications. Inspect all materials as per ISO standards.
• Raising NCR in case of non-conformance observed in the all daily activities.
• Follow up for NCR closer with Vendors.
• Day-to-day quality problem troubleshooting with vendors processes at their end.
• Regular conducting the onsite TBT of each and every activities.
• Carry out internal audit at the site.
• Certification of QC remarks on vendor invoice.
• As-built drawings and project handover documentation
