Job summary

Greythr is seeking a QA/QC professional for Mechanical works in Mumbai to develop PQP, inspect plans, and coordinate with contractors and consultants. You will maintain comprehensive QA/QC records, conduct site inspections, and drive NCR/CAPA resolution to ensure project compliance and successful handover.

You will review method statements, ensure adherence to standards, and participate in audits, toolbox talks, and quality training, advancing site quality culture and procedural improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC for construction/mechanical works.
• Knowledge of ITP and method statements.
• Ability to coordinate with contractor, consultants, and QA dept.
• Familiar with NCR and CAPA process.
• Prepare as-built drawings and O&M manuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ITP for Mechanical works.
• Review and verify method statements, work procedures, and material submittals for compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation including checklists, inspection reports, and testing records.
• Coordinate and conduct site inspections for Mechanical installations.
• Ensure all works are inspected and approved as per ITP and method statements before proceeding to the next stage.
• Act as a liaison between main contractor, consultants, and subcontractors & QA Department for quality-related issues.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated system quality.
• Attend quality coordination meetings and provide updates on QA/QC issues.
• Identify and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations from quality standards.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to close out NCRs.
• Maintain a log of NCRs and report trends to the QA/QC Manager.
• Ensure all Electrical activities comply with local codes, international standards, and project specifications.
• Prepare for and assist in internal and external audits.
• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures and work instructions at the site.
• Conduct toolbox talks and quality awareness training for site teams.
• Recommend improvements in site procedures and quality control practices.
• Assist in the preparation and review of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and test reports for project handover.
• Ensure all quality records are complete and handed over to the client/consultant.
