Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a growing technology-enabled home-services startup, is looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Product to own product strategy, roadmap, customer experience and product execution.

The Head of Product will play a key role in building and scaling a technology-led home-services platform, working closely with Technology, Operations, Growth and business leadership teams.

This is an ideal opportunity for a product leader who understands consumer internet, marketplace platforms, hyperlocal businesses, home services or other technology-enabled businesses and can convert customer and business requirements into scalable product solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Own the overall product strategy, vision and roadmap.
• Define product priorities based on customer needs, business objectives and market opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into clear product specifications and actionable development plans.
• Prioritize features, enhancements and initiatives based on impact, customer value and business goals.
• Establish product KPIs and continuously measure product performance.

Customer & Partner Experience

• Own and improve the customer and partner experience across the platform.
• Identify customer pain points and develop technology-led solutions.
• Design seamless experiences for customers, service partners and internal operations teams.
• Use customer feedback, analytics and market insights to improve product features and journeys.
• Drive product initiatives that improve customer satisfaction, engagement, retention and service quality.

Product Features & User Journeys

• Define product features, workflows, functional requirements and end-to-end user journeys.
• Work with UX/UI and technology teams to create intuitive and scalable product experiences.
• Develop product requirements and user stories for engineering teams.
• Continuously improve product usability, functionality and performance.
• Ensure alignment between customer needs, operational requirements and technology capabilities.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Work closely with Technology, Operations, Growth, Business and Customer Experience teams.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
• Partner with Operations to understand field-level challenges and develop scalable solutions.
• Work with Growth teams to support customer acquisition, engagement and retention initiatives.
• Coordinate product launches, testing, feedback and continuous improvements.

Build a Scalable Home-Services Product

• Lead the development of a scalable technology-led home-services platform.
• Build product systems capable of supporting multiple cities and increasing transaction volumes.
• Develop solutions for customer acquisition, booking, service delivery, partner management and operational visibility.
• Support integration between customer, partner, operations and administrative platforms.
• Ensure the product architecture and roadmap can support future business expansion.
