Job summary

Sadbhav Futuretech Limited seeks an experienced Head Material Management (Procurement Head) to drive procurement, commercial, sourcing and supply chain for utility-scale Ground Mount and Rooftop Solar EPC projects.

You will lead procurement strategy, vendor development, cost optimization and contract management while collaborating with engineering, projects and finance to ensure timely material availability and significant cost savings.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in Procurement, Materials Management, Commercial, or Supply Chain functions.
• Experience in Solar EPC, Renewable Energy, Power, or Infrastructure projects.
• Strong exposure to Utility Scale Ground Mount and Rooftop Solar Projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; MBA/Supply Chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Materials Management and Procurement function for Solar EPC projects.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely material availability.
• Drive Zero-Based Costing initiatives and continuous cost optimization across projects.
• Manage sourcing and procurement of Solar Modules, Inverters, Structures, Cables, Transformers, BOS items, and EPC-related materials.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, OEMs, and vendors.
• Lead commercial negotiations, contract management, and vendor development initiatives.
• Ensure effective inventory planning, logistics coordination, and supply chain management.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Projects, Finance, Contracts, and Business teams.
• Monitor market trends, material pricing, and procurement risks to support business decisions.
• Establish procurement policies, governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Drive operational excellence, process improvements, and working capital optimisation.
• Lead and mentor procurement, commercial, and materials management teams.
