Siemens Energy India seeks a seasoned Head of Grid Solutions Lifecycle Services (GLS) to lead the India Service Hub. You will scale capabilities, drive global project execution, and ensure delivery excellence across onshore grid projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or related technical discipline.
• 12–15 years in Grid Technologies, Power Systems, Electrical Engineering Services or related.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership, engineering management or service hub management role.
• Experience in global delivery organizations, shared services, or multinational engineering operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the India GLS Service Hub to support global onshore grid service projects with quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Drive resource allocation, workforce planning, and capacity management across engineering and execution teams.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs to enhance productivity, engineering efficiency, delivery quality, and turnaround times.
• Represent the India Hub in global leadership reviews and communicate capacity outlook and strategic initiatives.

As the Head of the Grid Solutions Lifecycle Services (GLS) Service Hub in India, you will lead a strategic global delivery organization supporting Siemens Energy's onshore grid service projects worldwide. You will be responsible for scaling engineering and execution capabilities, ensuring operational excellence, driving stakeholder collaboration across global regions, and building a high-performing technical workforce. Your leadership will play a critical role in enabling Siemens Energy to meet increasing global project demands while maintaining industry-leading quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Hub Operations & Global Project Execution (40%)

• Lead and scale the India GLS Service Hub to support global onshore grid service projects, ensuring delivery excellence in line with Siemens Energy quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Drive resource allocation, workforce planning, and capacity management across engineering and execution teams.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs to enhance productivity, engineering efficiency, delivery quality, and turnaround times.
• Ensure effective execution governance while supporting global project pipelines and business growth initiatives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across all service activities.

Stakeholder Management & Global Collaboration (30%)

• Serve as the primary interface between the India Service Hub and global onshore service organizations.
• Align delivery priorities, project requirements, and execution expectations with international stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with regional teams and sister organizations to standardize tools, processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Represent the India Hub in global leadership reviews, providing insights on operational performance, capacity outlook, and strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

People Leadership & Capability Development (30%)

• Provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and direction to a diverse team of engineers and technical specialists.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and talent retention strategies to support organizational growth.
• Develop workforce capability through structured learning programs, technical upskilling, and leadership development initiatives.
• Promote a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative culture focused on innovation and continuous learning.
• Strengthen organizational capabilities in Grid Solutions Lifecycle Services and modern engineering methodologies.

What You Bring

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Professional Experience

• 12-15 years of experience in Grid Technologies, Power Systems, Electrical Engineering Services, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership, engineering management, or service hub management role.
• Proven experience working within global delivery organizations, shared services environments, or multinational engineering operations.
• Demonstrated success in leading large engineering teams and managing complex cross-border project execution.

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or equivalent IPMA certification preferred.
