Job summary

Siemens Energy Industrial Turbomachinery India Private Limited seeks a hands-on Technical Lead to drive software solutions in an agile team. You will code ~40–60% of the time while mentoring 4–6 developers and owning technical delivery.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, ensure architecture alignment, and guide API/service design for scalable, cloud-native apps using AWS, Kubernetes, and container tech.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience as Tech Lead or Senior Developer in agile teams.
• Backend-focused with C#, .NET, APIs; frontend exposure optional (React/Flutter).
• Experience with microservices and APIs.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS or equivalent) and cloud-native apps.
• Container/orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes, Docker, Podman).
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization concepts (RBAC, Entra ID).
• Observability and monitoring basics; event-driven patterns (Kafka, MQTT).
• Strong troubleshooting and mentoring abilities.

A Snapshot of Your Day:

You will act as a hands-on Technical Lead within a single agile development team (with occasional collaboration across teams), combining strong software engineering expertise with team mentoring and technical ownership. You will actively contribute to code while guiding developers in implementing scalable, high-quality solutions.This is a hands-on engineering role where you will spend ~40–60% of your time actively coding and contributing to the codebase.

What You Bring

• Strong hands-on experience in software development (8-12 years)
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Developer in agile teams
• Backend-focused with exposure to frontend (C#, .NET, APIs; optional React/Flutter)
• Microservices and APIs
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or equivalent), including building and deploying cloud-native applications.
• Hands-on knowledge of container and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Podman).
• Working knowledge of cloud and DevOps ecosystem, including:
  • Authentication and access control concepts (e.g. Entra ID, RBAC)
  • Basic observability and monitoring practices
  • Messaging and event-driven patterns (e.g. Kafka, MQTT)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support developers in cloud, deployment, and runtime issues
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coach developers and lead by example
• Comfortable interacting with stakeholders on technical topics
• Experience on handling Timeseries Data
