Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering required.
• 5+ years in technical projects, engineering or reliability.
• Knowledge of gas turbines, power generation and reliability engineering.
• Ability to interpret engineering and operational data for assessments.
• Familiarity with Python/SQL or similar data tools is beneficial.

• Create and maintain technical risk assessments to support engineering instructions and recommendations to partner organizations.
• Monitor and analyze fleet experience, technical risks and findings for reliable turbine operation.

As a member of our Service Engineering team, you will become part of a global network of skilled engineers dedicated to supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our gas turbine fleet.

In this role, you will combine engineering knowledge, reliability methods, and data analytics to assess technical risks, investigate fleet issues, and support maintenance and operational decisions. You will work with engineering and operational data from multiple sources, helping establish consistent data structures, risk definitions, and assessment methodologies across the organization.

Working closely with regional and global partners, you will develop practical solutions, improve the consistency and quality of engineering information, and help transform fleet experience into actionable insights that improve availability, reliability, and customer value.

How You'll Make an Impact (Gas Turbine, R& D, India)

• Create and maintain technical risk assessments to support engineering instructions and recommendations to partner organizations.
• Monitor and analyze fleet experience, technical risks, and engineering findings, combining information from different sources to support reliable gas turbine operation.
• Execute risk-based spare parts and inventory analyses, review assumptions, and results with technical experts, and communicate recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Map and harmonize engineering information across different data sources and systems, ensuring consistent interpretation of technical findings, failure modes, risk classifications, and fleet experience.
• Develop and promote consistent definitions, methodologies, and criteria for technical risk assessments across components, databases, and engineering teams.
• Perform engineering data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, recurring technical issues, and potential risks across the fleet.
• Transform fleet data and technical findings into actionable insights for component reliability, technical risk assessments, and fleet performance decisions.
• Lead and drive internal projects or initiatives, such as the development of in-house software tools, engineering guidelines, risk assessment methodologies, or training concepts.
• Collaborate with international experts and cross-functional partners to investigate technical issues and implement data-driven risk assessments that enable sustainable corrective actions and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s in engineering
• 5+ Experience in technical projects, engineering, service, reliability, in industrial environment.
• Knowledge of gas turbines, power generation, reliability engineering
• Experience working with and interpreting, engineering and operational data to support technical assessments and decision-making.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, or comparable technologies is beneficial.
• Ability to work with information from different sources and identify inconsistencies, establish common definitions, and structure information for engineering analyses.
• Familiarity with statistical and analytical methods applied to engineering and operational data is an advantage.
• A structured, solution-oriented approach with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear assessments and recommendations.
• Ability to work effectively with international and cross-functional teams.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
