Job summary

Siemens Energy India Limited (SEIL) is seeking a seasoned People & Organization leader to partner with the Grid Technologies business in India, supporting Transformers and Services Execution Units. Based in Kalwa, Mumbai, you will lead P&O initiatives, shape culture, and drive workforce strategies across manufacturing locations, projects, and sites.

You will influence senior leaders, design future-ready structures, and drive transformation with a data-driven approach while aligning with Siemens

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
• 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong expertise in HR Business Partnering.
• Experience in multinational organizations with matrix structures; exposure to manufacturing environments and unionized setups is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the energy sector or related industries is an advantage.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change at scale.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving capability, and execution focus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Execution Unit leadership to translate business priorities into effective people strategies and actions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational effectiveness, leadership, and culture-related topics.
• Drive succession planning and build strong leadership pipelines for critical roles.
• Coach and enable senior leaders to enhance leadership capability and team effectiveness.
• Lead workforce planning discussions and recommend organization design solutions aligned to business strategy.
• Support and drive large-scale transformation and organizational change initiatives.
• Champion and embed a high-performance culture aligned with Siemens Energy values.
• Facilitate cultural and structural evolution to support business growth and transformation.
• Collaborate with global and local stakeholders in a matrixed environment to drive the people agenda.
• Oversee all aspects of P&O across manufacturing locations, project sites, and offices within the business.
• Support hiring for critical roles in partnership with Talent Acquisition and ensure key hiring metrics are achieved.
• Drive talent attraction, development, and retention strategies for the business.
• Bring data-driven insights and external perspectives to inform people and business decisions.
• Promote a culture of trust, collaboration, employee safety, and continuous development.

Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

Siemens Energy India Limited is looking for a seasoned P&O Leader to partner with the Grid Transmission (GT) business in India, specifically supporting the Transformers and Services Execution Units. These businesses operate across manufacturing locations, project sites, and service operations, serving both domestic and export markets.

The role brings deep P&O expertise, strategic perspective, and independent insight into business priorities. As a trusted advisor to the Execution Unit leadership teams, you will influence and guide people-related decisions, drive organizational effectiveness, and enable business transformation.

This position plays a critical role in shaping organizational culture, capability, and structure, with a strong focus on building a future-ready organization aligned with Siemens Energy’s strategic priorities.

The role is based in Kalwa, Mumbai and reports directly to the CHRO of Siemens Energy India Limited. The position leads a team of P&O Business Partners and P&O Advisors.
