Job summary

Cygnus Solutions is seeking a senior leader to head site-wide Operations and Maintenance. The role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective plant performance through integrated O&M strategies and disciplined execution.

Ideal candidates will bring BE/B.Tech with senior leadership experience in continuous-process plants, spanning production, maintenance, utilities, startups, shutdowns, and turnaround management.

Qualifications

Job Role

Lead site-wide Operations and Maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective plant performance.

Job Responsibilities

• Integrate operations and maintenance strategies across the complex.
• Drive plant uptime, operating discipline, maintenance effectiveness, turnaround readiness, shutdown execution, resource optimization, and performance improvement.
• Ensure close coordination among production, maintenance, utilities, reliability, inspection, and technical services.
• Support organizational capability building and strengthen field execution standards.

Job Deliverables

High on-stream factor, reduced breakdowns, better coordination between operations and maintenance, reliable shutdown execution, improved asset utilization, and optimized maintenance costs.

Qualification

BE / B.Tech

Nature of Experience

Senior leadership in operations and maintenance within continuous-process plants, with direct exposure to production, maintenance, utilities, start-up, shutdowns, and turnaround management.

Industry Preference

PVC Chlor-Alkali Petrochemical Refinery Fertilizer Cement Coal based steel plant Large Continuous Process Manufacturing

Preferred Exposure

Integrated O&M leadership, multi-plant coordination, commissioning, start-up and stabilization, turnaround management, utility-intensive operations, and performance improvement programs.
