Job summary

Cygnus Solutions in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, India seeks a seasoned site-wide shift leader to ensure safe, coordinated running of all plants and utilities during the assigned shift.

You will coordinate operations across plants and utilities, lead response to process abnormalities and emergencies, and maintain strict permit discipline and effective handovers with production, maintenance, safety, utilities, laboratory, logistics.

Qualifications

• BE B.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline with a strong operations background.
• Prior experience leading site-wide shift operations in large process plants.

Responsibilities

Job Role
Provide site-wide shift leadership and ensure safe, coordinated, and disciplined running of all plants and utilities during the assigned shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate operations across plants and utilities during shift
• Lead response to process abnormalities, emergencies, utility disturbances, and inter-unit issues
• Ensure permit discipline, effective communication, proper shift handovers, and alignment between production, maintenance, safety, utilities, laboratory, and logistics during shift operations.

Job Deliverables
Smooth site-wide shift operation, effective management of abnormal situations, disciplined shift handovers, strong inter-unit coordination, and timely response to operational emergencies.

Qualification
BE B.Tech

Nature of Experience
Shift management in large integrated process plants with responsibility for multi-unit operations, utility coordination, and emergency handling.

Industry Preference
PVC Chlor-Alkali Petrochemical Refinery Fertilizer Coal based steel plant Large Continuous Process Manufacturing

Preferred Exposure
Integrated shift operations, emergency response, utility coordination, hazardous process environments, start-up/shutdown handling, and abnormal situation management.
