Job summary

JobItUs is seeking a Lead MEP Design professional to spearhead design, planning, and execution of MEP systems for restaurant development projects. You will ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and project timelines while coordinating with architecture, interiors, kitchen planning, and consultants.

The role requires leadership in end-to-end design across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection, with hands-on experience in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM tools.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end MEP design and execution for restaurant outlets.
• Ability to review MEP drawings, BOQs, specs, and calculations.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.

Lead the design, planning, and execution of MEP systems across restaurant development projects, ensuring compliance with operational requirements, safety standards, statutory regulations, quality, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end MEP design and execution for new outlets, renovations, and refurbishments.
• Review MEP drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Oversee HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, electrical, fire protection, and kitchen hood suppression systems.
• Ensure seamless coordination between architecture, interiors, kitchen planning, consultants, and project teams.
• Support project planning, tendering, contractor selection, site execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, fire regulations, statutory approvals, and safety standards.
• Manage MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors while driving quality, standardization, and cost optimization.
• Resolve technical issues and ensure timely project delivery across multiple locations.
