Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a senior manufacturing professional to drive customer-centric production, handle quality concerns, and allocate resources across paint shop and assembly lines. You will coordinate with bodyshop, CME, MRV, and maintenance teams to ensure first-time-right output and sustained equipment uptime.

The role focuses on cost control, material quality coordination, and strong leadership in a high-volume auto environment, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 20 to 27 years of experience in the auto industry.
• Strong knowledge of auditing, SPC, quality control, and assembly and paint shop processes.
• Experience with safety management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer centricity by addressing production output and quality concerns, and implement corrective actions.
• Respond to next stage/line by supplying personnel as per TACT and line needs.
• Manage manpower and allocate work to cell leaders, team leaders and associates according to skills to achieve first time right output.
• Control conversion cost per unit produced in paint shop by monitoring consumables and waste.
• Maintain good employee relations with associates and union members.
• Coordinate with bodyshop managers to resolve quality concerns and with maintenance to sustain equipment uptime.
• Coordinate with CME and MRV teams for new product introduction and with suppliers for material quality issues.

• Responsible for ensuring customer centricity by responding to TCF lines and PPC as a Customer for production output and quality concerns and taking corrective and preventive actions.
• Responsible for ensuring customer centricity by responding to next stage/line by supplying bodies as per TACT.
• Responsible for ensuring manpower and allocation of work to Cell leaders, Team Leaders and associates as per their skills to produce first time right and every time right products from his stage/line.
• Responsible for conversion cost per unit produced in Paint shop by controlling consumable cost.
• Responsible for maintaining good employees relations with Associates and Union members.
• Responsible for coordination with Bodyshop Managers for resolving quality concerns
• Responsible for coordination with Utility and ETP Team for Sustainability Targets and Disposal of Hazardous Waste of Paint Shop.
• Responsible for coordination with Paint Quality COE and MQA for ensuring Products meeting Quality Specifications Bodyshop Managers for resolving quality concerns.
• Responsible for coordination with SSU and MRV Teams for New Colours Introduction, Validation and Implementation on line.
• Responsible for coordination with CME and MRV Teams for New Product Introduction from Paint Shop.
• Responsible for coordination with all material Suppliers for Material Related Quality Concerns and Solution during Quality Issues on line.
• Responsible for coordination with Maintenance team for Sustenance of Equipment Uptime
• Responsible for coordination with CME team for Improvement Projects and New Product Projects
