Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a Paint Shop Engineer with 4-8 years of experience to oversee manpower training, task allocation and process monitoring in the Paint shop.

The role focuses on achieving first-time-right quality and maintaining production efficiency through proactive quality tools. The ideal candidate holds a BE/BTech/ diploma in Engineering with hands-on experience in paint shop operations, SOP/SOS, Kaizen and problem-solving tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or Diploma in Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure manpower training, skill enhancement and allocation of work to associates as per their skills to produce first time right products.
• Monitor Paint shop processes using statistical methods and take proactive actions.
• Achieve KPIs: P, Q, C, D, S & M as per MOP/KRI targets.
• Ensure daily production efficiency and productivity targets in Paint shop (OLE).
• Lead and participate in TPM/SMT standards implementation for Paint shop and drive continuous improvement.

• Responsible for achivement as per MOP/KRI interms of P,Q,C,D,S & M
• Responsible for achieving daily production efficiency/target interms of OLE, Productivity parameters
• Capable of Paint shop concern resolution using Advanced quality tools to deliver consistent results in First Time
• Customer centric approach to deliver best quality product to internal (TCF & CQA) and Final customer
• Implementation of TPM /SMT standards for Paint shopTo Participate and lead various CFT
• Capable of global benchmarking for process and product (PT-CED, Sealer, top coat & polishing)
• knowledge of Paint shop lab equipments and material standards
• Knowledge of SOP, SOS, kaizen, problem solving tools, DCPCost control, paint consumption monitoring, energy management & consumables
• Knowledge of Paint shop Fire and safety
