Zusammenfassung

DHL Global Forwarding in Mumbai seeks an experienced leader to manage, control and develop the FTWZ business activities in line with group strategy and local conditions, aiming to deliver maximum profit and optimize assets and human resources.

You will lead product and business development, establish KPIs, coordinate initiatives, manage vendor relationships, and drive improvements across warehouses and operations to achieve targets and sustainable growth.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership in the areas of product and business development, resource utilisation, country organization and activities
• Support and co-ordinate the development, implementation and localisation of key initiatives and programmes
• Facilitate and support country's efforts in maintaining healthy relationships with trade bodies and government agencies & authorities, including being an active subscriber or participant of global research agencies
• Establish KPI's and obtain agreement & commitment from Country management
• Provide guidelines and support for the implementation of programs such as security regulation to meet country mandated regulatory requirements
• Vendor contact/negotiation according to corporate policy and local requirements
• Vendor contract/relationship and performance management
• Identifies, suggests, agrees and reinforces improvement measures at warehouses & operations
• Responsible for operational result at country level
• Defines, monitors and enforces targets to the warehouses / operations
• Select and assigns key positions to reach targets
• Lead market profiling and customer / competitor research and analysis activities to understand and identify market opportunities and challenges
• Develop effective pricing strategies to sustain profitable growth
• Responsible for constant improvement and optimization of production means (cost management), e g make or buy
• Defines and implements Warehousing ISO standards in line with corporate instructions
• Responsible for achieving customer business targets and KPIs
• Responsible for operational management, Operation sites, Technical support (buying, capacity etc), Local purchasing on country according to corporate policy

• Responsible for Operational KPI's
• Oversee Security practices to ensure policies and business needs are met.
• Develop a team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team.
