Job summary

Latin Manharlal Group seeks a seasoned equity research professional to lead its fundamental research team in Mumbai. You will develop models, generate investment theses, and present recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.

The role requires a strong track record in equity research, deep knowledge of Indian markets, and leadership experience to mentor a growing team.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CFA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 815 years of experience in Equity Research, Fundamental Research, Portfolio Management, or Investment Advisory.
• Proven track record of generating successful investment recommendations.
• Strong understanding of Indian capital markets and regulatory framework.
• Experience in leading and mentoring research teams is preferred.
• Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of listed companies, including financial statement analysis, business models, industry dynamics, and valuation.
• Develop and publish high-quality equity research reports and investment recommendations.
• Identify long-term investment opportunities and emerging market trends.
• Build and maintain financial models and valuation frameworks.
• Interact with company managements, industry experts, institutional investors, and other market participants.
• Ensure timely dissemination of research ideas and market insights to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Participate in investment committee meetings and contribute to portfolio strategy discussions.
• Monitor macroeconomic developments, regulatory changes, and sector-specific trends impacting investment decisions.
• Maintain the highest standards of research integrity, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, dealing, and relationship management teams to support client engagement initiatives.
