Amor Management Consultants seeks an experienced business-focused leader to head Forwarding & Logistics at the branch level in India. The role requires deep industry knowledge, strong customer relationships, and a proven ability to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency in freight forwarding.

The incumbent will manage the business P&L, expand the customer base, build strategic partnerships, and lead teams across Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to deliver superior service

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics.
• Proven track record of leading business operations and managing large teams.
• Strong network with shipping lines and airlines; experience with project cargo is a plus.
• Experience in P&L management, budgeting, and collections.

He will be responsible for managing the business P&L, expanding the customer base, building strategic partnerships, and leading teams across Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities

Business Management & Growth

• Lead the overall Forwarding & Logistics business for the branch.
• Achieve revenue, profitability, and budget targets.
• Manage the business P&L and ensure sustainable business growth.
• Develop and implement business expansion plans to increase market presence.

Customer & Business Development

• Manage and grow key corporate customer accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and ensure excellent service.

Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations, including Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Logistics.
• Ensure smooth operations, regulatory compliance, and high customer satisfaction.
• Drive operational improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.

Financial Management

• Monitor collections and working capital to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve business profitability.
• Ensure effective budgeting and financial control.

Team Management

• Lead and guide teams across Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.
• Develop a high-performance work culture with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
