Job summary

The Corporate Institute invites applications for Head Finance & Accounts in Hyderabad. The role requires a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience leading Finance & Accounts in manufacturing or related sectors.

You will drive financial strategy, budgeting, treasury, controls, and governance while guiding a high-performing F&A team and coordinating with auditors and regulators.

Qualifications

• CA with minimum 15 years of experience.
• 15-25 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in manufacturing, building materials, engineering, or industrial sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Company’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Support business expansion, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Provide financial insights to the Managing Director and Board for informed decision-making.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor business performance through MIS, variance analysis, and profitability reports.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and timely financial closures.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, fixed assets, inventory, payroll, and cost accounting.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting policies.
• Manage cash flow, banking operations, borrowings, and working capital.
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Optimize fund utilization and finance costs.
• Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.
• Oversee statutory filings, tax planning, assessments, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors, Company Secretary, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead statutory, internal, tax, and cost audits.
• Implement audit recommendations and strengthen governance.
• Identify financial risks and establish effective mitigation measures.
• Monitor product costing, profitability, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support pricing decisions, investment evaluations, and capital expenditure proposals.
• Provide financial support to manufacturing, sales, procurement, and operations.
• Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
• Drive ERP utilization, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish departmental KPIs and ensure high standards of performance.
